For the vents, I suggest getting the Tee. It creates less weird angles when connecting into the stock vent.

this is my boat in this pic...
I have NEVER had the rears drain and I surf 99% of the time..
I thought I would have to add valves to keep it from draining but the hull sits so high it it above the waterline and no probs

My added rear vents start to drain exactly the same time the overflows do. which makes perfect sense no that I think about it.
