By the way, since you surf more you do not need the Rev series of Wet Sounds. Get the Icon series. The Rev series are true HLCD technology and will be very bright sounding at surf distance. The Icon series will do you more justice, have more mid-bass, have a fuller sound, and will also sound better just floating without blasting you like the Rev series. The Icon will save you $500 for 2 pair. Rev series are designed for projecting soubd out to wakeboard length and be crystal clear when powered correctly. You'll still hear the Icons at wakeboard length but you said you only wakeboard 10%

I'd contact Earmark Maine in Lewisville if I were you. They've done 2 systems for me in the past and have been great, clean installed system with attention to detail. Talk to Odum and he'll give you a quote. Looking at the cost of the sub box Scream Marine quoted you at $250 it's probably a basic all-purpose box and NOT a true custom fit, build, and tuned box. Those boxes are around $400-$500 respectfully.
