Previous boat and the Seadoo I used that Jabsco 12v oil pump to change the oil thru the dip stick. I thought it worked great.
You do need to run the engine for a few first to warm the oil and there is a trick to getting the pick up tube all the way to the bottom of the pan (get to the bottom but not push it up, a back and forth motion) otherwise it simply won't suck up all the oil.
Make sure you get all the oil out otherwise a chance of overfilling if you simply put in what it supposedly takes.
