The dealership recommended these bags and they also installed them.is it worth upgrading to bigger bags?

I have only run big bags so I can't really comment on that but others likely will...

I would start with slower speed. I go down to like 10.2-10.8 depending on the direction of the tide. What you lack in weight you can make up with people. shifting them around the boat to see how it reacts is quicker than filling bags.

I have 750's in my A22 lockers. Riding rope less with 400's and a small crew would probably be difficult.

Don't be in too big a hurry to drop the rope. Practice keeping it slack, carving and getting comfortable dropping back in the wave and pumping to get closer to the boat again. We usually use a longer rope when we are teaching newbies to ride.

If you put 750's to 900's in the rear and a bow sac you will be amazed at the difference in the wave.

You need more weight, the 400's are not big enough. Are you running a bow bag under the seats?
