Appreciate the video too cause we weren't offenders of the "power turn" but definitely offenders of the wide circle. As the one usually in tow, the wide circle was annoying cause it was a lotta wasted energy on my part as we made the wide turn.

If you have big roller coming and have time, throttle up and you will put the nose higher and over it. But if you are too late you can push the nose deeper into the roller and take even more water in

If you're going to take a roller, bump the boat in reverse, it softens the blow and will usually save you from taking water in. Heavily ballasted boats don't really get enough bow rise for quickly throttling up and over a wake.

I always let off throttle and wait for the rollers from my boat to pass, then just turn and go get my rider.

I have owned a 2014 for a little over a year. We live in Bama (For some reason?) and Surf 3+ times a week up to December and then start back up in March, I wakeboard all months (Dock Start in the winter only). We went to the 2315 prop quickly - It really gets you out of the hole quickly. We tried a lot of different things - This is what works for us - This when there are 4 or less people in the Boat - 2-750s in the Rear Lockers - Center Tank Full - 920 Up Front Full - We move the Stadium seat forward about 16" and place a 650 Bag there - It stays in place with some of the bag filling in the gap between the engine cover and the other seat - The wife does not need the wedge down but I do (200 Lbs), it makes the wave a lot steeper and easier to recover when at the back of it - Of course like most boats the Regular side is a very nice wave - I ride goofy and it curls over on itself towards the rear - We have tried getting rid of some water on the opposite side of the rider, not much different in the wave - If I have my choice - Remove the Free bag and have 5-6 Adults on the boat in the rear and as many on the riders side - Really good wave then - I have been wanting to try another 650 Between the walkway right in front of the drive and see if that makes the wave a little longer? Otherwise with this setup there is only one other boat that we have ridden with a better riding wave (WakeSetter) - We have riden behind a New G21, New G23, New Tige, A24, A20, couple older Boats.
