About to put my boat into winter storage and was going to give it some love with the hula wax followed by sealant. I know a few of you guys have used these products just from reading posts on the forums, that's why I went with them. I'm using a porter cable 7424 buffer. Before I get started, I was curious if you guys do anything to protect the decals, I didn't want to mess them up.
First year owning an axis and I freaking love this boat. Can definately tell I'll need to baby the black gel coat though... It's already showing some wear and I wipe it down with boat bling every time we go out. Worth it though lol

I never covered up the decals on my black A22 when I had it and had no issues with using a DA polisher

Oh, forgot to mention, I only use Hula products for waxing and polymer sealant. I've also used their compound on a neglected sailboat my buddy bought at auction. Bought it for $2700 with trailer and was offered $16,000 for it after one night of compound, wax, and sealant.

Yeah the stuff is awesome, I bought it a few weeks back but just now getting around to it cause its finally a little too cold to be on the water. I've got one side and the back done, I think I must be going pretty slow because that has taken me about 5 hours. Looks great though.
