So my boat came with 1 1/8" stainless steel thru hulls and I am planning on adding a separate vent line to my front bag and center tank. I am wondering if the wake makers fittings are visually the same to what malibu uses in the factory. Or would a place like west marine have them?

The 1-1/8" stainless from Wakemakers will match Malibu OEM but I have t found the black Axis thru hull yet. It shouldn't be an expensive part to get from your dealer so I wouldn't have an issue ordering through them or maybe call Bakes, those guys are great people and very fair on price.

I ended up stopping by west marine just to see if there's matched before I ordered online. They ended up having the exact same ones that I had in my boat. I also decided to raise my anti siphone loop for the front bag. My loop was just above the floor, now it's right underneath the windshield. All in all, it was a fairly simple job. Here's how it came out.

Looks like a perfect match. I thought of changing my thru hulls for stainless as a winter mod project but I don't really know. I think the black look just fine with the Axis side badge and possibly the stainless so close to the black Axis badge would look a little "off"

I ordered mine directly from the manufacturer, much cheaper!

Haven't installed them as of yet ... still waiting on the absolute fix from Axis for the rear draining vents. They claim a loop is needed higher than the vent port (duh) ... we'll see. But I at least have the parts.

Yea that's what I got but the SS version. West marine sells the flow-rite thru hulls. All are plastic but mine had the SS mushroom, they also had black and white.

I would upgrade if I had the plastic thru-hulls. I feel it makes the boat look more expensive haha.

My boat is funny though. It's a 12' that should have had 3/4" ballast tubing but liquid force or malibu decided to throw 1 1/8" hoses. Come to find out, the factory was probably low on the bigger fittings, I found a 3/4" T fitting in my rear drain that had excessive amounts of silicone to make up the difference. All my hard tanks had the 1 1/8" fittings though. I also have a different setup for my rear drains. My bags and tanks are both connected straight to the drain pump.

I think those black ones look much better than stainless would given your colors and Axis logo.
