Hey guys,

Working numbers on a purchase of a leftover 2013 Axis A20 and wanted some input.

The boat has a lot of options I could care less about but I won't complain if the numbers are right.

Options:
Charcoal Metal Flake Upgrade
Charcoal color match on tower
Dual Batteries w/ switch
High Altitude Prop
ChillAX Center Flip Up Seat
Drop In Cooler
Flip Up Drivers Bolster
Pull Up Cleats
Docking Lights
3-Outlet Heater
CS Cover
Tatami Mat Carpet
GL Bimini Top
Stereo Pack 2 w/ Black Alpha 1 Tower Speakers (4)
Charcoal Tower Speakers
Auto-Set Wedge
Depth Finder
Plug'N'Play Ballast w/ a 500lb arrow bow sack and 750's in each rear locker
FatAX Tower Upgrade
Fixed Combo Racks (2)
Ski Pylon
SS Cup Holders
Single Axle Boatmate Trailer
Color Match Trailer
Transom Ratchet Straps

What should I be trying to pay for this?

Boat only has 2 hours on it and dealer said it is from them lake testing it when it came in

Still NEW so full 2 year warranty/etc will be in effect.

Thanks!

-Matt

I'm 99 percent sure there is no pre-wiring of tower speaker wires. My new 2014 didn't at least.. And it came well equipped.

I had a sound pack 1 in my boat and it WAS wired for tower speakers.

Price-wise, I'd say mid-40s is probably what I would expect on a 2013 A20. Maybe a little less to account for the missing options.

I believe you have to order at least SP1 for it to be pre-wired. Not 100% sure though.

I bought a 2012 A20 with sound pack 1 and it came pre-wired in the tower. I'm opening up the gel in the bow to add the new speakers up there this spring. Not sure if I'll find anything there, though the vinyl pattern is ready to work around the two speakers. I think mid 40's is appropriate for the 2013. Are you sure those are the only options? Does it have plug and play, that was a must for me because I really wanted it to be easy to add the extra weight. Also, cleats are on option. I didn't even realize that boats came wo/them until I got my boat home. That's an extra ~50/ea.
Also, you should ask about the warranty. Correct me if I'm wrong but I believe the warranty is 3 years with the ability to extend it to 5 years if you use Boater's Insurance. Should be transferable for some $.

I'd try no more than $43K-$45K it doesn't have surfgate and more than likely if you like surfing or if you try to surf it you'll wish you had it. Resell or trade-in will be difficult or you'll get lowball offers since the A20 is the least selling model and the lack of a surf system (in my opinion).

I will tell you this from comparing an '13 to '14. Surfgate has more push than ghetto gate. I noticed it and my buddy that has a '13 also noticed it too. With that being said, If I could dump my '14 and snag an A20 for under $40k I would probably do it. The A20's might be the least selling boat but they are a steal on the used market considering the wake they put out.
