I always suggest a community wakesurf board. I suggest a CWB ride, Tsunami, HL or Ronix entry level board. One that will not dent when a new riders misses the handle or drives it up the back of the boat because he could not brake.

If you have a boat you will have new riders at some point so a $349 and under surf board is a good buy. then I suggest something for yourself. After you get the hang of the entry level community board go buy yourself an upgraded board. I have been on surf only and wakeboard company made surfboards. I have been on all the Inland and ShredStixx boards and I have actually had some good luck with the Ronix thruster. Not a bad little board from a wakeboard company. So not all Wakeboard companies have bad boards.
I do like the Inland stuff. For big guys the red rocket has been a solid board. I like the Sweet Spot Pro. A little small on me at 190-195lbs but I still prefer to ride that board. the swallow is a great board for me also. I am interested in riding some of the Phase 5 stuff that we just got in. I am afraid that it will all sell out before I can get my hands on any of them. Now that they have a few surf style shapes I an really wanting to get some of them out on the water.
