Hi guys ...Wondering how much ballast I should add to my new A22 for wake surfing. Never done it before but can wake board. How much does the boat have built in? Super pumped. Might get a wet suit. St. Louis area still cold up here low in mid 20s tonite.

You have a new hull so no one will be able to give you exacts. If I was you, I would set it up very similar as the T22 setup. You should have 800 - 900lbs of stock ballast. Plug n play the rear with 900lbs+ and throw the designed A22 sac up front. Trust us, going with the biggest bags you can for the rear will ensure you have the best surf wake. Drop the wedge and set the cruise at 10.8mph and you should be good to go. Once you get use to it, play around with weight and see how the boat does.

Congrats on the new boat! I have the new hull and I went with sumo 600s in the rear. It's much more than enough for the average wakeboarder and I can also easily surf behind the boat. Not saying more weight isn't better just saying you can easily surf with 600s. This hull is great.
