My boat is about to be shipped in two weeks, was considering adding the tie downs. Does anyone have a closeup picture of them? ~$100 wasn't sure if they were worth it or just get a pair from home depot.

The ones from Axis are the ratcheting ones that stay on the trailer and retract?

Thoughts on them?

Thanks

You talking about the trailer tie-downs? If so, no picture, but I've seen them. I assume that they are probably stainless or some other more water resistent material. They bolt onto the trailer, and stay there, as well. I use the Home Depot style ones regularly for my race car, and it doesn't take much for them to get sticky and hard to use. If I trailered my boat, I would definately spring for the ones that mount to the trailer.

Thanks for the link, yeah so that's what my dealer is charging me for them roughly.

Anyone have any suggestions for better ones than these or are these my best bet if I am adding some?

Thanks again.

They're all pretty much the same. I have the ones from boatmate now on tricked out. The Gander mountain ones are Starbrite and they worked fine. Think they're around 70.
