I just got my new 2012 A22 and the dealer installed a Wetsounds XS-10FA in the stock plastic under the drivers console. I was wondering what other users did to make their subwoofer sound good? Mine seems to bottom out when barely pushed.

The stock enclosure in that comportent sounds bad. Earmark Marine built me a reflex enclosure for under the driver console and actually used the stock MTX sub when I was going to get a JL sub. Even with the stock sub in this reflex enclosure I can make the water ripple from the bass. It hits clean and deep.

Scream Marine built my enclosed box and I use a DB Drive audio 12 and it sounds great. I have a buddy who has the free air and it has great sound but doesn't have the punch. Depends what your looking for.

I am replacing all of the interior speakers to Wetsounds xs-650's so when I do that i am having an enclosed box installed. I think a big part of my problem is not having the amp's tuned properly.

I have the WS free air sub too. I'm interested in putting a ported box in my 2012 A22 as well. Can I ask what you guys are paying to have a custom box made just for under the dash?
