Deck trac pads are only available from Malibu dealers here in Australia and the cost is $900 AU a set.
Bloody ridiculous price if you ask me.

You can go to a skate shop and get a roll of grip tape. I havne't done it, but one should be able to. It may be a bit harsh, though. You can also call Aircraft Spruce and ask what they carry for the walkway for wings. I think it is actually painted on, but similar stuff. I searched, but couldn't find it, I think I just can't recall what it is called.

Actually, just look at Overton's - http://search.overtons.com/?Ns=p_image_ ... t-Flooring

I ordered and installed mine after purchase. It's pricey through Axis, but you can buy it for much cheaper. The stuff is called 3M Safety Walk.
http://www.amazon.com/3M-Safety-Walk-51 ... B004SIF7HG

That there in the link is 4", but if you look around it comes in different widths. If you go this route, it won't have the Axis logo/design in the dec track, but its the same thing. Should be an EASY install if you have a buddy with an Axis that has it or forum member willing to make some templates for you. :)

Also- it's not like grip tape from a skate shop. That's more like sandpaper. This is a rough rubber traction and it's not abrasive.

Thank you for that linK! I was afraid the grip tape may be abrasive, which is what I meant when I said it may be rough. But that 3M stuff looks like a great option.

I just installed deck trac to my Axis. Bought some water proof ruberized deck grip tape from my boating store for $27 and got the kids to cut out some letters. It does the job and looks sick.
