A22 rear ballast

Walter - how did it go? Do you have the arrow bag for the bow too?

I have a 2014 Axis A22 factory that i am trying to outfit for a better wakesurf swell. I need height and length and looking at getting the arrow bag plus two 750's for the back. The Fly High 750's measure 50" long though and you are saying that at 42" the bags are bulging the cover panel on the seatback? I don't want to hurt the boat parts while searching for a great swell. Seems like dual 400's just won't be enough weight though. Our crew ranges from two adults + two kids to having 6 adults and 6 kids. I want something that will work when it is just my family on it though.

Curious if any other A22'ers have any feedback on their 750 lb fly high bags causing structural issues on the inner compartments.

I just filled them with air, I won't get to test them on the water until this weekend and I'll let you know how it goes on Monday or Tuesday, but with air they fit perfect, I hope they work out like I think they will with water in em, and I do have the under seat bow sack.

I am very interested to hear how they worked out, I want to upgrade my back ballest bags and may purchese these.

They fit great, they do put a little pressure on the engine divider, it pushed in about 1/2" to 3/4" but did not pop off track, they filled completely and went all the way front to back without bunching up, now I need a little more prop, at 1050' elevation with full stock tanks, front pnp bag under seat and these two rear bags, full tank of gas and 7 people on board totaling about 1000lb the only way it would plane is if 5 people were in the bow, I guess now I need a 2315... No wedge used yet, it did set the swim platform about 8" underwater

Do you have your dividers reinforced?

Most people do run the 750's with no problem I just wanted something a little different and thought the dimensions on these bags would work, and they do fit great, they cost a bit more but I wanted to order a set in red anyway so why not go custom......

Ya that's the one, Surf wave was the same as people who use the standard 750's, this is the only picture I got of it, too busy having fun

That’s awesome, what was your configuration ballast wise to get a good wave. I will be honest this is my first wakeboarding boat and I am still learning how to dial it in. Also what hardware did you have to buy to hook it up to your system I have a 2013 with the plug and play high flow system?
