Personally I don't like that spot.. if it's a stand alone head until and the driver is not in the seat it's a pain to do anything with the stereo. Just my 2 cents but a super clean install. That and what do u put in the deck location??

I left the HU in place and ran it into the 420 as the "aux in" so you could use everything factory if you wanted or use the BT on the 420 with a switch of the noob.

I don't like the radio controls open to my kids...so it kept little hands away from the volume and equalizer knobs. :D

I put mine throttle side because of kids as well. Now my 2yr old slides under the wheel and cranks it up

I guess I'm the odd guy out and let my kids play with the stereo :) heck they have better taste in music then I do.. but they are 6 and 9 not super young

Mine was that way but I never used the deck so I got rid of it..
