Our Axis came with Stereo package 2 but we decided it just wasn't enough. So last week I ordered a wet sounds pro 485 for the tower, Syn 4 to run the tower speakers, XS-12 to replace the factory sub and the 420 EQ. Everything should arrive tomorrow or Friday!
The plan for this summer is to have the 485 and 2 of the MTX stock tower speakers on the tower all being run by the Syn 4. The XS-12 is going to go under the helm and have the te604 MTX that came with the boat pushing 600 watts continuous to it. The in boat speakers will stay the same and be pushed by the stock te404 amp that came with the boat. Eventually (later this summer or next) we plan to add another 485 to the tower and ditch the remaining 2 MTX tower speakers. Replace the in boats with XS-650s and replaced the 2 MTX amps with a Syn 6.
Install should start on the new stuff next weekend. I will take pictures and post up the progress!
