I was concerned that the ballast bags in the rear of my 2014 A24 might get cut by sharp edges from the rear eye hook bolts and other sharp screws and edges near the rear seat. My simple fix was cutting small openings in used tennis balls. I used Marine Goop to secure the tennis ball opening over the sharp edges. Marine Goop is not as permanent and can be removed if necessary later. Another solution would be bath & kitchen tube caulk to hold the tennis balls in place. I just had my nephew's inflatable boat (PVC Material) get cut by a board with a small screw sticking out so it can easily happen. Good winter project.
