They started fastening the towers from underneath somewhere around 12'-13' don't know which year for certain

from below seems like that would be much harder to tighten. God knows I dont check mine often enough as it is, but if they were hidden they may never get my attention.

Yea I know my 12' has two large 19mm nuts on the bottom side, fastening the tower. I have a hybrid 12' though. It was built in late 11' but I also have the 1 1/8" ballast hoses and other different parts.
