I chatted with a friend of mine (dealer) who runs an A24 with an Indmar 409ss and Torque prop. Those wakeboard RPMs are pretty well inline with what he is currently running.

Same motor and 2419 I'm running in mine. With 5150lbs of ballast then the wedge I run the same RPMs.

I gave the wrong rpm's for wakeboarding, sorry about that.
20.0 mph = 3500 rpm
22.0 mph= 3650 rpm
These rpm's are very close to our previous boat which had the PCM ex 343, 1.48:1 tranny ratio and 1235 prop.

That's only 300-400rpm's higher than surfing. Not bad really.

Also you only need half throttle for hole shots and then it seems like you only need 10% throttle to hold speed so this 450 is barely trying

Anyone follow Trevor Maur on instgram? He mentioned his 15' A24 has an LS3. I wonder if they are still using MP for the 450hp option.

2015 Axis are entirely PCM.

He's likely referring to the PCM version of the 450.

Which decidedly ain't an LS3.
