Anybody know what the 2015 upgrade price is for the PCM engine offerings? Also anybody know whether the 409 will offer the gear reduction tranny?

I do know that all the engines share the same tranny, so they will all have the 1.72:1 ratio. That's good for people who don't want to spend the extra 8k on the 450 because the gearing will make the 350 "feel" more powerful. On one of my build sheets I had the 350 and it was the base motor with no charge. For me the 450 was 8k. I spec'd out an A24 with the 409 and SP3 and the 409 was 5k and SP3 was 4500. I opted for SP1 and the 450 because out the door it's the same price as the latter.

I'm happy with the change, PCM gave me years of troublefree use in my Nautique Boats.

I had just read on themalibucrew that the 6.0 (409) would NOT be getting the 1.72 gear reduction. Is this not the case?

From my understanding visiting the Malibu plant and talking with the installers there, the 409, 450, and LSA motors will not get the tranny gear ratio offered for the 350. Just passing along what I was told as it was not in writing. All Indmar in the Bu's and all PCM offerings in the Axis line. They are still testing the Raptor motor from Indmar. They did not indicate what models they were being tested in.
The upgrade to the LS3 in my A24 cost me 8K. That was for the 14 model. Don't know what it will be for 15 with the PCM line.

Smokin', the OP in this very thread has a 450 with gear reduction tranny. That's why I am curious.

I'm looking at a T22 or A24.
