Love it! Extra space for boards and gear. Plus I can take a tube with us without any hassle. It comes with a slick tube holder that Velcro's it in place. I even towed the boat a short distance with the tube up there without issue. Plus the extra shade is a awesome!

I love the shade and the extra space my Z5 provides. I can usually store a slalom ski, doubles, even a small surf board if needed. It swivels down for easy access and I trailer the boat at interstate speeds an hour each way with no problems. IMO, it looks better than the other Bimini.

I just don't like the fact that you can't fold it up and enjoy the sun when you want to.

Depending on where you live I guess not using a bimini might be a concern. I live in Central Texas so s bimini is a must but even on mild days I'll just sit in the bow or chill on the sunpad. However, if you are talking about cruising and have the sun on you as the driver then it's only an issue a few hours a day depending on the sun angle. I promise I can remove my Z5 and have it off my boat faster than someone can fold their standard bimini and put the cover on it and secure it with the straps....it's that easy. I've had three Z5 biminis and love them but it's not for everyone and everyone's needs vary.

Love my Z5. Came on the boat and don't know that I would buy another boat without one. Stores three boards, don't have to boot it up to travel, shade if I want, and easy to take off if I don't want it. I leave mine on all the time though. It's one less thing I have to mess with. Good shade for the kids too when they get hot.
