It looks like you were using FPV to line up the shots. Was the pilot in the tow boat, a chase boat, or on shore? My kids want me to start flying over water and I am getting my nerve up. I think I will start with wakesurfing so it will be easier to manage the quadcopter speed and positioning without FPV. And info appreciated.

No fpv just a gopro I'm in the boat very easy to maintain speed I would say that traveling 21.5 mph on a constant drains batteries faster. Getting some barefoot footage today if weather cooperates

but its so awesome with fpv .... before i sunk mine ..... i had just gotten my black pearl and video down link, flying fpv is amazing and it made framing so much better. the only con of flying fpv is you look at the screen instead of the phantom (or whatever you fly) and sometimes it takes a moment if there is an issue to get you direction movements correct. they can be different looking at the screen vs looking at the craft.
