Hello guys,
could anyone with a 2014 A22 please give me a heads up on the dimensions of the storage space available under the seats? Especially height and width would be important.
Thanks in advance,
Stefan

Good luck. There are only two seats that you can get exact dimensions from. The heigh under each seat should be a constant. The problem lies when you look under the two rear corner seats. They are open to rear compartments on each side (that is assuming you removed the plastic insert supposedly called a cooler). Then under the battery storage area is another set up dimensions. What are you planning to do?

Wow that was fast.... :-) I want to put some life-jackets in a bag and a cooler under the seats and would like to know what the maximum height and width would be. Unfortunately there are almost no interior shots to be found online. I will get my boat in March next year and would like to buy some stuff and plan where to put it. Would you mind posting some pics of the opening to the rear compartments that you mentioned? I can't recall that from when I looked at the boat.
In particular I am interested in the measurements of the areas marked in red. If you could post a picture of the storage under the corner seats I would really appreciate it!

So are you getting the 2014? I am guessing so judging by the title. I could probably help you out this evening when I get home from work. I still need to pull my batteries out of my boat. If you are getting a leftover from the dealer, ensure they give you the soft cooler that comes with all new Axis boat purchases. The soft cooler very closely resembles this one in dimensions. The material may be a little cheaper than the AO cooler though.

Not going to happen this evening. It is cold and rainy out. I don't feel like getting out in that mess. I can get you some before the end of the week though.

I don't believe anyone makes a plastic or hard cooler that will fit under the seats. The AO brand of coolers is probably your best bet

@dezul: Thanks for the info so far. I would appreciate if you could help me out with measurements when you pull out your batteries. No hurry though! And yes I will get a 2014 A22. I will talk to my dealer about the cooler.

One idea we like ... we purchased a several sized clear plastic bins with lids. They don't fit perfect, but keep extra towels in one, ropes/bungee tie downs and an anchor in another, and a couple dozen of the soft fuzzy cloths we use to wipe down the boat, and another for trash. Keeps things dry and neat as well as the anchor from scratching the gel coat. Ropes we keep tied together in the engine tray. Also keep a bin in the glove box to keep valuables dry and small tools organized. The one thing I will be adding is a few more power outlets for USB power adapters, one on the battery side front and rear for passengers to charge cell phones. The only things we keep loose are life jackets so they can at least dry while not in use.

We do the same.

Awesome idea for a new thread. Would love to see how everyone has their space set up. We also have bins under one seat for stuff as well as a bin in battery compartment for cleaning supplies.
