Has anyone seen numbers on both yet? How much more is the T23 than the A22, equally optioned?

I wouldnt think it would be more than a few grand, if that. The T-22 was less than our equally optioned A22, so Id say 2-3k??

New model I'd bet it's more like 7-8K

I'm hearing that pricing is actually pretty close to the A22, just a bit more (couple thousand). Need to sell my A20 first before I can seriously look at upgrading.

I agree. New model or not the price of the T23 will be between the A22 and the A24. The T22 could be had all day $3K minimum below the A22. So I believe that'll put the T23 $3k above, maybe $4k, above the new A22 but still $2k-$3k below the A24. There is still good room to negotiate especially if you are a repeat customer to your dealer and now is the best time to buy. Dealers are way slow, plus you'll get your slot in before the Spring rush. Dealers in my area are already giving huge discounts to repeat customers to order or buy 2015's now. The reason for this is because dealers use boat shows to meet new customers that are new to this type of boating. They don't necessarily need to focus on current customers who already know what they are looking for.

I had my dealer build and price one out for me. With all the (in my opinion) necessary options like plug & play, SP2, racks, black and purple metal flake gel scheme, and the 350 it came out to right around $75k. It could definitely be built cheaper with different options of course, but the 70-75 range is what I would imagine to be for a decently optioned 23. They also have a 2015 A24 on the floor I looked at that was about $8k more with almost equivalent options, maybe a bit more optioned out than the 23 I priced out. Hopefully this helps y'all out.

Ouch. A 2014 T22 is about 11K less that has SP3 and a few other options.

To be fair, it would really need to be an apples to apples comparison. The 2015 T22's went up what, ~3K with the same options? That said, I don't think it's 3K more for a T23 ... more like the 7-8K that I guessed, and the A24 8K more than that.

The new boat market is just crazy IMO. I remeber when Axis first came on the scene as a "budget" boat. At that time a new one with all the options was right at 40k out the door.

The sad thing is that was only like 6yr ago...

$75k isn't a bad starting price. I saw 2014 A22 Vandals going for that. Should be able to negotiate that into the mid-$60's.

I just want to say, "necessary options" will vary from person to person these would be the must haves for an Axis boat.

I would say the necessary options would include the following.

-Wedge.. goes without saying

-SurfGate.. same as the wedge, goes without saying

-PnP ballast on these is a must if you plan to surf and wakeboard. It is misleading that they only provide the additional lines but the nice thing about that is it allows you to build the system and find everything for your own price. If you can trade some old gear for new bags, that saves you money. If you find a smoking deal on a used setup you saved some money.

-Prop if you plan to weight this thing out go with the torque prop.

-Motor depending on your elevation. The base motors with the torque prop will get these boats out of the hole and moving.

-Forward cleats, I wish they would just makes these standard. You can use the tower but the cleats are nice to have.

-Tracking fin, this will vary from person to person.. yes you can probably get away with one fin but personally id only to it on the A20. Everything else would get the second fin especially if its being weighted down.

Anything after these are entirely personal preference. For the audio side of things, if you know a great boat audio shop chances are you can get a better sounding system for less or very close to the price of doing it from the factory.

The upgraded gel schemes and upgrade on the metal flakes are options for a reason, you can build the boats for a cheaper price but you are choosing to go the more expensive route for personal taste. Nothing wrong with that, but it is not a necessary cost on the boat.

That said, the MSRP breakdown should be some be close to where you guys are at now.

A20 - 55-60
T22 - 58-64
A22 - 63-68
T23 - 67-72
A24 - 72-76

These would be general prices prices with the options I listed. Add or subtract depending on options you go with and the deal you get with factory rebates, dealer incentives, tax/dmv fees etc..
