Has anyone ever done this? I have had really unusual tire wear so I contacted boat mate and they sent me to the people who make the axles because someone else does. I contacted them and sent tons of picture and they said I had a bent trailing arm that was causing this wear issue, I have the new trailing arm but the old one is rusted or ceased on there and I have tried prying it off but I just won't budge. Any suggestions?

I would soak it down with penetrate and let it set in overnight. Then drive a wedge in that gap and see if it gives way.

I used this stuff called liquid wrench and let it set last night and it helped a little, I got it to slide forward on the axle but once it comes out so far it just stops

If you can use a propane torch that might help. So long as it's not next to any bearings or plastic you should be fine ... perhaps contact the vendor.

Well I got it off and it wasn't easy, the boat is used in salt water at least twice a month and sometimes more all year round, the rust had built up around the axle where it was sitting and it was just stuck on the rust, i just started rocking it back and forth with the pry bar and it came off real slow. I wired brushed the axle to clean it up before the new arm went on and when I put the new one on it just slipped right on, so I'll just have to keep an eye on the wear to see if this was the right fix or if something else was the issue
