Hey guys,
I've been cruising these forums for quite a while now and have been preparing for a boat purchase for about a year now. After several test drives and tons of research, I put in an order on a T23 yesterday. It will build sometime in late February or early March at the latest to be in for spring time. I sat in my dealers T23 and it was the one. As you should see in the pictures, I got all black with the purple metal flake. I've yet to like a better color combo on a boat. I didn't get to test drive the T23 but I've driven/ridden/surfed the A22, A24, and T22. I trust the Axis brand enough to know that the T23 should be exactly what I want. I ordered pretty close to every option: SP2 with bluetooth, cover, bimini with surf storage, transom underwater lights, plug and play (550s in rear), dual batteries, 2nd fin...etc. I went with the 350 and the high altitude prop. Thought a lot about the torque prop but at my elevation and the riding I plan on, this should be just fine. This is my first boat to own personally (let alone custom order). My dad and I have had boats but this is my first on my own. Stoked. Just wanted to share!
Scott

Congrats, beautiful colors. If it were me, you need to get Sumo 750's or 900's for the rear UNLESS you are going to have 8-10 in your crew. The 550's will not get the full capabilities of the surf wake. You can change your order but trust me, no one is satisfied with anything under 750's UNLESS they have a large crew consistently. You don't have to fill a 750 or 900lb sack all the way if you don't want or need to depending on your crew size. However, once you max out a 550 sack and need more weight...you're out of luck, especially on those days when it's just a few of you in your boat and you need the human ballast to make up for the 550's. The Sumo 900's will fill completely and fit just fine. I run them in my A24 and the rear lockers have the same room in the T23 and A24 and there's still room on top for life jackets and/or towels.

Youre interior is exactly the same to the one I designed and the exterior is the same except I am torn between the green flake and the charcoal flake. Love the all black though with some flake.
I agre with AJ, go with the larger PNP sacs. Can always let some water out, but cant add to what you dont have. Especially if surfing is what you will primarily do behind this boat.

Congrats!! New T23's are SO sick! I'm not a fan of purple anything but the purple flake looks really good on the Axis and Malibu boats. I also agree with AJ on needing bigger PnP bags for the rear (depending on crew size of course).
Welcome to the forum!

I appreciate the input fellas. I will talk to the dealer and see if we can swap those bags. But if not, I'm not terribly worried about it because I will consistently have a large crew out. 8-12 people will probably be typical (one of the reasons I went with the 23 vs. the new A22 or T22) unless it's a weekday afternoon and that would just be a couple guys boarding and none of us are to the level where an extra ~500 lbs is gonna make or break us.
