I'm in the market for an axis but my budget stops at 60k. I've been searching for a left over 2014 but haven't really been able to find any. I've found 2 slightly used axis for 58k. What I'm looking for is an A22 with surf gate. All the other options aren't so important. I live on the water so a tricked out trailer is absolutely not necessary, I'm willing to travel anywhere east of the Mississippi to pick it up. Has anyone purchased a 2014 for under 60? The best deal I could find on a 2015 is 72k.

I got a 2014 A22 Vandall from deep Creek marina in Maryland for 58500 plus tax title and license.
I think they only have the A20 Vandall left as for as 2014's go. You could always give a call.

What do you guys think of a 2014 A22 Vandal edition for 65k? It is fully loaded with the big engine.

What exactly is "fully loaded"? Does it have the LS3 motor, is it SP3 stereo, does it have the Z5 bimini, does it have the tricked out trailer with 18" wheels, is it flaked?

Is that out the door or before tax title and license?

That's VERY interesting as I just called on that leftover A20 to get an idea on pricing and he told me $70k. How you scored an A22 for ~$12k less is beyond me. I was really interested in making a deal on it but I can order a 2015 for less than that from my local dealer.

6.0 motor isn't "the big engine" being that the 450 is the big engine but the 6.0 is 410 and ilia a good engine. 5 blade prop...eh, see if the dealer will swap it out got the 2315. The 5 blade was thought it was going to be the latest and greatest prop. Bunch of us in 2011 or maybe 2012 got it and were somewhat disappointed because it didn't pull any better than the 1235 which we all pretty much had already. Most of us sold the 5 blade off or kept it as a backup prop. Pretty fair price but he boat is not "fully loaded" but close...no bimini and no SP3. I'd definitely ditch the 5 blade prop and ask your dealer to throw in the 2315, that would save you $575-$600.
