All my friends that are getting into their mid 30's that had an A22 wants an A20. The wake is still pimp and the boat is cheap enough to not sacrifice much of other lifestyle ammenties. We all don't have as large of crews as we use to. The A22 use to be a party barge with a wake. Now it is used a lot for its purpose.

Dezul, I just love a big wakeboat. I'll never go smaller than a 23' again. Here's my average crew, a large crew for me is 5. The bigger the better for my liking but everyone has there own priorities or preferences for their ideal boat. If they come out with a T25 or A26 I'm in lol. Hope the A20 gets the new hull in 2016, that would make it an even better 20' and probably the best in that range. It's already the best wakeboard wake in that class.

Don't get me wrong. My friends agree. They will also sacrifice 4' feet in order to own their own dock and house on the lake. Their budgets are that tight. In Knoxville, lake front is not cheap....anywhere. they will sacrifice boat over living.

Thanks for all the replies. We left a deposit and signed a purchase agreement on it. Should be picking it up in 2 weeks time. Still too cold to use it anytime soon but we're SUPER excited for our first boat.

I'd love a BIG wakeboat but we've got a 22ft lake limit locally and our garage is only 21ft deep. Then of course there's that money thing, we didn't want to spend over $50k and to get a new boat below that is HARD. It'll be nice to be able to store it inside all the time and it's got more options than we know what to do with. I'll probably order the Wicked Wake Surf or make my own to get it really clean. I saw some pictures of an install on an A20 here awhile back and I'll probably go a step further with that to make them permanent.

Coming from my dad's 1996 Malibu Sunsetter LX this will be a HUGE difference. Pics once we pick it up!

I agree with everyone else. I wouldn't pay more that low 40K and make sure you get the full warranty.

Well we're not in the low 40's unfortunately but used ones are going for more than that so I can't see us getting a new for that. And when pricing a new one we're like 10k or more of a difference based on what my local dealer is offering. 10k is a lot of money and I don't see the benefits of going for a 2015 for that much more.
