Hey guys, I just purchased a 2015 A22 and will be picking it up tomorrow. I'm going to give it 10 hours or so before weighing it down, but I'm curious what is the best bet for ballast options. I'll be both surfing and wakeboarding. I found this doing a quick search, is this the recommended way to go?:

http://www.boardstop.com/product_info.p ... ts_id=7112

Also, I do have Surfgate and the Acme 1235 prop. Am I going to need to upgrade to the 2315 prop? I will likely not need to fill up the 1100s all the way most of the time.

I did a search on this, but didn't find anything specific to my needs, maybe I missed something.

Thanks!

I would wait before you buy a new prop on the 2015s. See what others are recommending since the gear ratios are different than the '14s.

Congrats on the A22! I'll be putting my order in as soon as someone buys my '13 A20. Which options did you decide on and also curious about the interior scheme. Please post pics when you get a chance.

Also, anyone know if you can still order the 2313 from the factory?

Thanks! I'm very excited to pick it up tomorrow, and I'll post pictures when I can- it's green/white. Options I have are:

Bimini w surf board storage
350 Monsoon
1235 Prop
Sound Pack II w Bluetooth
Spinner racks
2nd tracking fin
Plug n Play
Surfgate & Wedge
Chillax seat
Drop in Igloo
Depth finder
Seat bolster
Dual batteries
2 pair cleats
Ski plyon
Dual axle trailer w tie downs

I think those are all the bigger options..

Hello everyone I'm new to the forum and I have also bought a 2015 A22 and I'm curious which ballast set up to go with as well any info would be helpful!
Read that the Fly high 1100 rear sacs don't fill all the way didn't know if that were the same case on the 2015 A22

As long as it fills the rear compartment then you should be good. I know the '15 A22 I rode on had the ronix 800s. It could have used larger bags. The surf wake was sick though. Anything 750 or above should be perfect for you.

I would go Sumo 900 rears and sumo bow bag. Easy peasy. Test it out and see how the prop performs before making any decisions on what to get.

Yes I read that the sumo bags were better bc you could fill them more but I didn't know if that were the case with the 2015 A22? I wonder if the lockers were bigger?

Stop wondering and get the Sumo 900's because they will hold right at a 1000lbs. The Fly High 1100 holds less than 1100, closer to 1000lbs. The Sumo has better shape (diminsions) than the Fly High so it'll stay in place better in the locker. I've had both and with the extra width of the Fly High I had to make sure the bag was positioned correctly before filling and check it once or twice during filming to make sure it wasn't bunched up in a corner. This is only with the 1100 Fly High, the 750's were small enough not to worry but you don't need to look at anything smaller than the Sumo 900 or Fly High 1100
