I would visit your local Malibu/Axis dealer when they have a demo day. Take out a T and A series boat and see what you like. You might like the open A series bow or you might not. You might like the extra space inside the T23. If you are not worried about wakeboarding, surfing or anything behind the boat then you might not be concerned with engine size, prop, ballast etc now but at some point you will start using the boat for watersports and then all the engine, prop and ballast will be a game changer.

How old are the kids right now and do they do anything watersports related?

I did test the A series and personally just prefer the traditional bow of the T. Kids are 12 & 15 and we are all newbs so definitely going to be a learning experience for us all. I have my sales guy loaning his son out to teach us the basics once the weather breaks.

Damn that was fast!! Congrats though, talk about instant gratification. We ordered a t22 a couple weeks ago and no update as to a delivery date yet. I want to be in your shoes!

Got anymore pictures? What options does it have? We're you able to beat them up on that msrp number? Ours wasn't that high but we didn't pay anywhere near that either.

I will get some more pics this weekend when it's sitting in my driveway. I got it for around 18ish% below msrp. Not sure if that's a good deal or not but I'm satisfied with it and the service after the sale is elite and that is hard to put a price tag on. I'll post up a list of all the options when I am not on my phone and can get to a computer.

What sold me on new was the general improvements made over the past few model years... The engine bay is definitely better laid out than it was before. Used scared me because I'd never truly know the history of the boat beyond what was told to me or the frequency of it's services. Plus I wanted blue!

I'm not sure what is standard and what isn't, but this is everything that has a $$$ next to it on the build sheet:

GL Bimini Top and Boot w/surf board storage
GL Boat Cover
High Altitude Prop
Transom Installed flush kit
Bluetooth
Stereo Option Pack 2 (auto volume)
Stereo Remote
Grayscale tower
Panoramic Mirror
Port Upper Rack - Spinner Board Racks
Starboard Upper Rack - Spinner Board Racks
Black Speakers- Wet Sounds Icon 8 (2 pair)
Plug N Play Ballast Plumbing (HI FLO)
Wake surf Technology (same color as swim platform)
Wedge Auto-set with Position Indicator
ChillAX Cockpit Flip up Seat
Stainless Cup holders
Depth Finder
Drop in Cooler
Removable Carpet
Seat Bolster (Flip Up Drivers)
Dual Battery Switch
Pull up cleats (2 pair)
Docking Lights
Underseat Lighting (Blue)
Underwater Lighting

Trailer

Galvanized tandem
Transom Ratchet Tie Downs
14 in Alloy wheels

Additionally not sure there's a difference in engine availability but it's got the Monsoon 350 which I think is much better laid out than the previous Indmar engines. Exhaust is under the engine vice in the rear at the top.

How'd I do???

That's pretty well optioned, in my opinion. You'll still need to buy the ballast bags for the plug-n-play.

My dealer gave me some info on ballast bags yesterday (left it at home) but they were $100 off for the rears ($170 for 750# iirc). I'm gonna order those this evening after the boat deal is officially done. Just waiting on FedEX to arrive.

Awesome!! Yeah, you definitely have a well optioned boat! I have been checking prices for the bags as well on a few different websites. That price doesn't sound bad at all from a dealer. What are you doing for the front?

I'm leaning towards a 400# throw in up there, but we (kids and I) need to learn how to get up on the board first. The GF likes to Ski so don't need anything for her to do what she wants to do.

Your boat is equipped with plug n play which includes provisions for a front sac to be added under the bow seats. I would recommend getting a ballast bag that is made to fit under those seats and connected to the plug n play.

Definitely will get one made to fit the boat. I don't like the idea of cluttering up valuable deck space. Thanks for the link, it's been bookmarked.
