trying to get accesses to the bow sac ballast pump ive removed the carpeted side pieces right and left side of where the front arrow sac is located. and now noticed that it is one large fiberglass plate from batteries all the way around. I was going to cut the floor from were the fill/drain lines come thru the floor back toward the seat about two 12" cuts would look like a upside down L. is there any other way to get in there other then taking the gas tank out? my main reason for doing this is to get the front arrow sac to drain more efficiently about 50-100 lbs always gets left in there making putting the boat on the trailer difficult as the launch is in shallow water, another reason is that using the ball valves qty3 in there is extremely difficult + its almost impossible to undo the drain plug while fishing in there with one hand..
Im sure you can tell im reluctant to cut it. was going to use a dermal with cutoff wheel? what are your thoughts?

Your floor should have some screws that you can remove to get below it to the gas tank and center ballast tank. Can you not go through there?

The drain pump for the bow-bag, at least in my 2012 A20, is not fixed to the boat. I was able to grab mine via the circular hatch and then gently pull it up. Took some time and effort. The three fixed pumps are- 2x fill pumps for the bag and the tank and 1x drain pump for the tank.

You could also pull the seat piece in the center of the bow and assist the water getting to the drain. Anything seems better than cutting the boat to me?

Just unscrew the 4 or 6 screws in the floor cover, remove cover. you now have tons of access to all the pumps for the bow and center ballast. Then modify your hoses to allow easy drain. If my boat wasn't at the dealer I would take pics. I also rerouted the bow ballast fill hose to allow it to fill all the way and look decent. (drove me nuts how the factory routed it and pinched off the bag) If you can wait 2 weeks I should have my boat back.
After I made both mods my bow sac might have a half gallon tops left in it after draining.

Removing the floor over the tank in an a20 doesn't provide the same room as the bigger boats.

You briefly mentioned the T Drain Plug and problems removing it. I took a 2" piece of PVC and cut a slot on the end to fit over the T Drain handle. Then drilled a hole at the other end to fit a screw driver. I use this to loosen the drain plug when it is stuck.

I would not cut the floor or you would have problems supporting the floor when repairing it

taking that large cover on the floor only allows you complete access to the gas tank if I wanted to service the pumps or get in that area its impossible with gas tank there. I guess pic would help. the area I would be removing is under the chillax flip up seat. flip open the seat and look under it. you will see the two ballast hoses coming up thru the floor its only a 12"x 12" carped section

The pumps should be at least somewhat accessible from the black round access hatch in the floor next to the seat. Not going to be easy to work on it from there, but it's probably do-able.

I just had to fix my front bag drain pump. I removed the fuel tank after fighting trying to get to it through that little stupid hole. Removing the tank was actually pretty easy.
