Similar situation with the Axis cover. It lets so much water in through the tower holes its insane. A towel was left on a seat, turned the white vinyl blue 2 weeks ago. I am trying to get it in the sun, but I live in michigan and we haven't had any sun in a while. The little bit it has had does seem to be helping. I want to get it a good 24 hours of sun bleaching before I determine another course of action.

I still would like like to re-skin the rear port and starboard cushions. The port side cushion had some repair work done before I took possession of the boat and its annoying to look at. Only shows up under low light conditions. Ill do it sometime this September or October before I put the boat away for winter storage.

Let them sit out in the sun. The discoloration will probably go away.

That is exactly what it is doing. Thanks for the advice.

I thought I was the only one with this problem.

Axis has a fix kit that my dealer install on my tarp to stop stuff from getting in the boat from around the tower. I was getting allot of pine needles in mine. It looks like they just sewed another layer of the black stretchy fabric inside the part that goes around the tower.

All of the pinkish stains went away with direct sunlight. Thanks goodness for now. This made me think about reupholstering the entire boat this winter. From what I have read online reupholstering costs 2-4k. MarineWorld in Wichita, KS said 2-4k as well. In addition, I also inquired about replacing the 2 port and starboard engine cover seat skins. I was told $314.10 per skin. Maybe its just me, but I feel that is outrageous for some cheap Axis vinyl.
