I have a extra 2249 if anyone ever wants to try it out. Works great on my boat but different motor and gear ratio :)

I do run in the Tn river with some debris but have never run OJ props. My main concern is carrying lots of ballast up to speed with this 350 motor not concerned with top speed at all. I haven't ordered the prop yet now y'all have me thinking about the OJ props. Not sure what to do now.

I'm pretty confident that it's not a matter of OJ vs. Acme. I've noticed that the bigger props with less pitch can take more of a beating. I think it's because there's not as much pitch and cup to the props so, a small ding or dent doesn't make them vibrate like it would on something with a lot of pitch to it. Hope that makes sense.

My spare 2315 has about a 1" spot wheres it's pretty bent and it doesn't vibrate at all. And I haven't noticed any drop in performance either.

Anyone else running the OJ 945? How does it compare with the Acme 2315?

I replied to your pm. I feel like they are pretty much the same prop. I ran the 2315 for a full summer and the 945 for the next full summer. Same ballast setup on both with same plane time.

I have a different motor and tranny, but i've tried the 2315 and planned out 24mph with 5k of weight, plus 5 people in the boat and a full tank of gas with no problem at all. My regular prop is the 1235, which gets by. The 2315 is the way to go though.

Ok after putting much thought into it I'm getting the OJ945. I've never had a OJ prop before and it's time to try something new.

I was in the same situation... I've had multiple boats all with ACME props. Had the opp to try an OJ945 and been happy with it.

I have the 2313 on my T23 w/350... no problems at all... I think the 2315 would be a little too aggressive IMO.

I don't think the difference between the 2315 and the 2313 is as great you make it sound. The change in the cup of the prop isn't going to make that big of a difference.
