Window tint % ?

Want to get my A22 tinted. Looking for advice on how dark to go / pics of what you guys have done to yours and how it looks. Thanks! I am noob to tint so I don't know much of anything

20% most common. It's very useful, still can easily see, and gives the boat a clean look. I personally think "limo" tint is stupid and doesn't look as good as 20%. Plenty of guys have done 5% limo tint wished they'd gone lighter. You hardly ever hear a 20% guy say he wished he'd gone 5%.

Oh and prices vary a lot. I was quoted up $450 for doing my A24 which is the easiest windshield to tint of any boat due to its very flat compared to truly curved glass. I had a local small car shop do mine for $75 with ceramic Llumar tint.

Just did my A22 last week. Llumar 15% ceramic. Looks great. I think 5% would be a bit overkill IMHO. I paid $120 which from what I have read is more than some and less than others on the board.

I have 20% as well and think it looks great on my A22.

Although mine isn't an Axis, I did 18% & love it! I couldn't imagine any darker than 15% though...

I have 5% on mine. Usually, once it gets dusk I am always looking over the windshield anyway so to me it was not that big a deal.

This amount looks perfect. In high school I did the 5% on my car. Wouldn't do it again.

I imagine 5% at night on a boat would be difficult. I might even do a 50% on the windshield just for a little eye relief. Or just wear sunglasses. ha
