So this may be a dumb question , but I don't have my boat or paper work. Are the wet sounds In boat speakers xs650 or the 65i's?

Getting an amp added to my boat and trying to educate myself a little on stereos I noticed the two different speakers on their website. ?

Thanks!

That explain why they were a little underwhelming. Hopefully tuning it and adding a 3rd amp will help. I installed the 650's in my old bolt and they were loud and clear! I wonder if Anyone has swap for 650's prob not worth the price?

Do you have an EQ? Like a WS420? Tuning definitely helps. If you don't have the WS420 then your stereo is lacking and wakens up after the install and proper tuning

No 420 but I'm having the amp and a 12" sub installed by a reputable stereo shop that I have used before. Hopefully that will be enough

Not enough. The factory headunit does not give you near the control the WS420 does. There's a reason the WS420 is the most popular stereo upgrade in any wake boat with a decent system. Just put the 420 in your "to do" list. If you've never had one you'll be amazed why you didn't get one before. The zone control and tuning it allows is awesome, plus it's so easy to use.

I may be the only person to ever disagree with this but I've had the ws420 in my last two boats and I just don't miss it on this one. It's a good product but one I can live without.

Lol, yup...you're the first I've ever seen that said it Gibb. However, we all have different priorities, wants, and needs. I like having all the flexibility the 420 gives as my music needs vary several times a day.

For me the zone control on the head unit seems to be enough(although it's a pain to see(adjusting on sound alone now) but I'll look into the 420. I plan to keep my boat for several years so that may be a fun winter time project
