I haven't had it in anything terrible. But it certainly handles 2' safely. It's not fun in that though. There's nothing I like doing in it that is fun in 2' waves.
It handles 2' a lot better than my old 17' I/O. I can go 25 instead of 15 and the kids get beat up less. Not sure I'd buy a wakeboat if I was planning to be on the ocean a lot though. It doesn't take much to dip the nose and you can't really trim it up like some boats.
