Is there a way to adjust the output of the towers and in-boat speakers independently? When towing I'd like to be able to crank the towers without blasting out the occupants of the boat.
I have SP1 with a custom aftermarket "SP2" (2 JL amps, ported sub box, bow speakers, and a pair of Rev8 tower speakers) installation so mine might very well be different from yours, but if you tell me it can be done then I'll have to go to the stereo shop and have them sort it out.
As for the OP, yes it is difficult to see the screen while sitting up in the helm seat. I too have to bend down to see the stereo screen and make any adjustments. It would have been nice if it was either angled up or mounted higher.
I ordered mine with SP1 and added my own stuff. I picked up a HT6 and 2 bow speakers from a member here.
My system goes as follows:
HT6 powering the 6 in boat WS speakers and a WS 10" FA sub. This amp is hooked to the "rear" RCA's off the kicker unit.
Arc Audio 600.2 powering 1 pair of Rev10s, that amp is hooked to the "front" RCA's. This gives me control of tower and cabin. If I fade all the way forward only tower speakers play, all the way rear plays only 6 cabin speakers. Sub has its own volume which is nice and that will not change fading forward to rear since it has its own independent volume. When pulling a rider I usually fade to about 5 forward that way the towers are playing 100% and cabins are at 50%. If you have it at 0 both tower and cabin will be 100%.
