Hi guys I have an older A20 and my new shed is a fraction low, has any one tried to have a slightly shorter sides to hold the tower made up, I only want to shorten it an inch or two ? Was going to see if a metal fab place could make two new wake tower sides a fraction smaller? thoughts
Cheers Mike

Could you not just trim off what you need off to lower it and re drill the through holes?

Personally I think it would be easier to raise the sheds door opening an inch or two.

Is your trailer as low as possible?

How much to tall is it exactly? If it really is fractions then let a little air out of the tires and experiment with different hitch heights.

I have heard of the tire trick. Let the air out and squeeze it under.
I have also heard of guys digging out the gravel for clearance. If your shed is on a gravel floor you might be able to dig down enough to clear.

I personally wouldn't go modifying the tower itself. I had to remove the good looking fonished front on my boat shed I buily when I upgraded boats to gain a few inches but you can also adjust the axle height on the trailer

Thanks guys but it may be as much as few inches, local regs say the shed can only be 3mtrs then there is the roller door putting it at 2.8, thought about leaving a grove on the cement for the tyres but its just not enough, with the shed and floor and driveway we are at almost 20k, Thanks any way

Modify the trailer by maybe adjusting the torsion arm on the splines of the axle to bring it down a bit. Lower profile tires maybe?
