Hey gang what difference, if much of any, would there be in these props for wakeboarding/surfing? I am at 5300' ft in CO running the 410hp in my 2016 A22. From what I understand the 410hp uses the different transmission ratios than the 450 or 350hp. Anyone know why that is? And what I can do to get some more planning ability out of my setup at altitude?

They will be very close the 2313 is about the most aggressive out there but the OJ performs great. I run the OJ 945 and love it on my 16 T23. I have the 350 motor and run 4 to5k of ballast surfing with no problems. Great Prop I highly recommend the OJ 945.

As far as aggressiveness in Acme popular props from least aggressive to most aggressive holeshot, it goes as follows: 1235, 2313, 2315, and 2419. I have the 2419 with the L96 motor (aka: 410hp) and it's the tractor tug of props. If the 2419 can't do it, you need more motor. In my opinion, if you are considering the 2313 but are on the fence about it just get the slightly more aggressive 2315. The difference in rpm and speed is negligible but the 2315 has just a bit more holeshot.

Don't forget the 2249 and 2247.. not sure where they fit on this list though.

Probably around the 2313 and 2315 but not the 2419.

AJ what is your ballast set up? My boat came with the 2313 so I may be looking for a little more grunt. What kind of performance difference could I expect If I went to the 2419?

I've run the 945 and the 2315. They are very very comparable props. Really doubt anyone could tell the difference between the two in a blind test. The 945 is definitely going to be a little more aggressive than the 2313.

I've also run a 945 with a little less cup than stock (sent back to OJ and had them "decup" it to make it more aggressive). Pulled real hard. Compared RPMs with a friend with same boat and running a 2419 and we were about the same.

This was on a '14 LSV with the 1.5:1 tranny (i.e. same ratio as pcm axis with 409).

At 5300 to push big weight I'd want the 2419 or maybe even the 2937 (15x11 !!!)

aggressiveness = lower gearing / better hole shot / higher cruising RPMs / reduced top speed
