Been searching and haven't had anyone with a similar problem.

In rough water, the tower is making a good bit of noise where the base mounts and pivots. Almost like a clicking sound. Seems to be from the tower moving left to right at the base (maybe sliding on that mount). The right side is right in my ear so it's fairly annoying to listen to.

Something doesn't sound right. I've owned 2 Axis and ridden in 5 others and the tower is very solid. Actually that's a great feature of Axis is the solid tower. I boat in very choppy water often to get get to smooth water so I bet my boat sees more chop than most but still solid tower. Find the torque specs for the bolts and double check

Sounds like a loose bolt on the tower. I did have this issue with my 2013 A22 and it was the large allen head bolt at the base of the tower. I do not know my 2016 well enough to know if it is mounted the same way.

These boats are subjected to a lot of vibration and jarring so it's possible something got loose

That is what I was thinking. I will check on those before I take it out next. It's my first season with the boat and I was hoping that this wasn't normal because it's obnoxious.

Thanks for the feedback.

Try a little of the medium strength thread-lock on it.

She was loose... One side i snugged about half a turn and the other was about 3-4 full turns

Took it out yesterday and hit a big windstorm on the way in complete with a little waterspout forming. haha Had good 2-3 foot whitecapping rollers and she was solid as a rock.

Thanks again.
