Definitely need more weight. I and most of the A20 people run 750's plus stock in the rears. Congrats on the new boat! I'm jelly!

What would you recommend for ballast sizes?
The dealer I bought the boat from made it seem like 400 were plenty big enough since the
The boat has surf gate and wedge.
I appreciate all the help

Minimum 750's for the rear and the Axis front bow bag. Is a good place to start. That alone will make a huge difference.

I have 750s rear with 650 bow bag in my t22. Usually 6-8 adults on the boat with 2 up front for surfing. If you usually have a smaller crew I would get 900-1100# bags for the back. Water depth is big factor too. Anything less than 10' drastically reduces the height of the wave.

If I get 750s for the rear will they fit no problem without modifying anything?
The dealership told me if I ever want to upgrade the will give me what I paid for the 400s for bigger bags.so it seems like j should just get the 750 now ?

Go big! This is my 16' T23 with rear 1100's, 650 bow sac, hard tanks full and a 400 in the walkway. No Wedge.Image
It gets steeper with wedge and sometimes I run 700 more depending on crew size.

The bow sack will make the wake longer?
