I have had a ton of warranty work done on my boat (I think almost 40 hours of billed work by my dealer) and still have more to go. I am not anal but if I was I'm sure more work could be found. That being said I love this thing but worry about my first no warranty year and what kind of bills I could possibly get trying to keep the boat in good shape. My question is has anyone been in a similar situation and been able to get axis to extend their warranty because if? Not trying to knock axis but I think I got a lemon (or just really bad luck).

Thanks

What all have you had done? Has your dealer contacted corporate? Do they have any ideas on why your having so many issues? If it's me I may ask dealer to buy back boat and buy model year newer just to be safe

The dealership asked me to send them a email that they will send to corperate. I will list what's been done when I get to my computer.

So far warranty has covered:

-Windshield and frame (Did not close properly so damaged the frame and it also had cracks in it)
-Both trailer axles
-Swim step had cracks in it (they replaced it but sent one with a big chip on it so dealer is fixing that one)
-Side panels did not fit correctly and left a big gap
-tower lose
-Lots of stress cracks in transom (all on port side) this was fixed and now we have more :(
-Cracks on the rear transom around the edge (dealer says they are shrink cracks from when they built the boat)
-Cup holders do not sit all the way down (dealer trimmed fiberglass below them so they would sit flush)
-Floor debonded on the rear port side (dealer was able to re glue it)
-Grip tape in bow came off (replaced with gatorstep ones)

There are some other small things but these are the main things thus far :(

That's a lot of issues with some of them being related to structure.. I would be asking for a full buyout by dealer and you pay the difference for a 2016... Don't take your chances keeping this one

Honestly I would just assume keep this one but yea a new boat would be comforting I think. I will see what malibu says but I would be happy with knowing the boat is under full warranty for another year or two as I would assume all the issues would have shown by then?

Yeah right. Good luck with that one...

I have had as many and more warranty claims on my T22. Including replacing all the vinyl and a complete stripping and repainting of the trailer. It was rusty the day I took delivery!
