My dealer didn't install the mirror. Kind of a long drive away.

Its the stock new on a 2016 t22. doesn't make sense how to install.

Any ideas on what others have done. I think the bar to add to the tower is only about $500... Anyone have a different idea how to not spend 500 dollars to get this done?

Or install the factor one.

Thanks,

Marc

Doesn't it just clamp to the windshield frame? There is a section in the manual about it also.

I have the stock one and it requires two metal screws to be put into the center windshield. I would avoid this and get a PTM mount and mirror. The $500 for the tower mounted is widely considered to not be worth the $$$.

I have a PTM mirror with the windshield mount. Love it. Go that way instead of the factory mirror.

Well after getting a bit ticked off at the dealer all of the sudden the arm that attaches to the tower for the mirror price became 250 shipped... I am going that route. Would prefer it to be further away anyhow...

Thanks,

With the new design and location of the tower I was told that you will hit your head on the mirror all the time if you do not go with the windshield mount. My dealer now orders the PTM on all boats.

On my 2016 A20 with tower mount the mirror is positioned well and easy to see and I haven't seen anyone hit anything on it. My complaint with it is that when I fold the tower down the mirror arm sticks straight up higher than my 8 foot garage door. So every time I put the boat into the garage I have to break out an allen wrench and remove the tower mirror.

I have a 2016 A24 with the tower mirror mount. I have 35 hours on the boat and haven't hit my head once.
