Awesome wake would I have to modify the rear to fit 1100s?
Can might bought handle 1100s?

Anything bigger than the 750s you will need to add the divider support kit which I hear is a quick install. And I think your asking if your boat can handle the 1100s? It should depending on the prop you have.

1100's will fit but would require a reinforcement kit and even more bow weight to keep the nose down. You would also have to prop the boat for it. I see a lot of A24 and T23 with 1100's not sure about the A22.

I personally think Sumo 750s which weigh closer to 800lbs are perfect in my A22. They seem to be balanced perfectly with the 650lb bow sack and 1235 prop that I have. A family member of mine just bought the same boat but 16' vs 15' and put 1100s in the rear with 650 in front and we have to put a couple people up front to get to speed for surfing. Just my $.02

Go big! This is my 16' T23 with rear 1100's, 650 bow sac, hard tanks full and a 400 in the walkway. No Wedge.Image
It gets steeper with wedge and sometimes I run 700 more depending on crew size.

Wow that's an awesome wave! I don't think my A20 could handle that much weight but it would be fun to try! I've got 750s in the rear and I think the same 650 bow sac, however there isn't enough room in the front for the bow sac to completely fill. I'm planning to try a couple of the "side sacs" ion the seats n the bow, which I think will be another 500#. My wave without the side sacs is pretty good and we run with the wedge to help the height and push of the wave. I'm expecting the extra bow weight will lengthen the wave and also hoping it will smooth out the lip a little.

That wave looks awesome. I haven't taken delivery of my A22 yet but trying to figure out what bags to go with. I'm leaning towards the Wakemakers 825lb. rear bags and 750lb. bow bag. Any A22 owners out there that run these particular bags and have any pics?
