Options for pulling a prop

No recommendation from me and I have the same motor and 2419. I use 4650lbs to over 5000lbs to surf plus wedge no problem. Wakeboard with around 2800-3000lbs and wedge no problem. Plus my A24 weighs a bit more and I'm sure I have 2-3 more batteries than most people.

Are you at altitude?

Same here with the 2249.. I am sea level to 1500 feet.

In Florida at about 150' above sea level. I'm normally pretty happy with performance but when I get a full tank and a bunch of my kids friends on board, I have to make 4 of them sit in bow.
Have wedge down, standard ballasts plus 750s in real lockers and under bow ( doesn't fill 100%). Guys at Tommy's don't think prop change will make dramatic difference. When loaded up, she planes perfectly at 3/4 tank of fuel. Seems like I'm just on the edge of having it right. I compensate by letting a lsome water out of the rear PNP at first.
I like the 2219 because I can run across lake at 39-40mph top end to get to our deep spot.

My tip? Get a C clamp puller, use a little grease when you put the new one on, and the first time you change it in a long time be prepared to really wail on it with a hammer.

All that said, this task is so easy you can do it underwater.

To everyone who said just go buy the c clamp puller....they were absolutely right!!

4 hours later we finally got the old one off. It took building a puller from scratch in my wife's uncles metal fab shop.

I've been there myself. I learned quickly it's best to have a puller.
