I've had two different A22's I think I had a little over 500 hours on my first and I have about 200 hours on my 2015. I've had a couple warranty issues with both boats that were fixed The first one, an alternator, the second one an issue with it overheating. I had a centurion before those boats... that boat ran flawless but I would probably not buy another. I spend many hours on other boats too, in fact I spent the entire weekend on an early 2000 moomba with 1200 hours on it - I had just as much fun with my buddies on that boat.

My .02 is to figure out what's important to you, drive a couple boats in your price range and pull the trigger on the one that gives you what you are looking for. For example; I really like the MB's but my wife skates at 19 mph and my son wakeboards around that speed too. The MB wake is mush at 19, so, it doesn't work for me.

Wake/wave performance at all levels (5 year olds to great riders) is very important to my family/friends, so Axis wins every time.

Honestly if I was to do it again I would really rethink my axis purchase. I love the boat but the quality of mine is total shit. That being said I would buy a Tige so the price would have jumped 40k or more so it's a big jump for less BS.

I will never have another Tige. Worst experience of my life. Problems and more problems with very bad customer service.

I have read threads on wakeworld about the horrible customer service from both Tige and Skier's Choice. It always seems like there are a couple of people that have had bad experiences with each manufacturer.

Yea I'm sure they all have issues. I'm just really frustrated with my boat right now. I feel like every time I take it out there is a new problem.

I looked at a lot of boats before deciding on my axis, that being said it came down to value, dealer, warranty in that order and as far as I'm concerned I got the best of everything. Now as far as Moomba goes, it was a nice boat but felt cheap to me, the side graphics are stickers, I didn't care for the surf system and interior felt squared off and cheap. The Moomba dealers in my area weren't willing to deal on anything and I was just not impressed. I had the same experience with the NXT22.

Like nitrous and I'm sure others have said, dealer plays a big role in my decision as well. Luckily my local dealer who always goes above and beyond carries Axis/Malibu.

We put almost 200 hours on our '13 A20 before selling it and now have about 75 hours on our '15 A22. No complaints whatsoever with either boat, and I know my dealer will take care of me if I happen to run into any issues down the road.

Sent from my SAMSUNG-SM-G925A using Tapatalk[/quote]im having that same issue. And the customer service from my local dealer is terrible. Was told by the parts/mechanic guy he wasn't going to help me because I'm not paying him for the yearly services... I do them myself, And he doesn't make any money on warranty fixes. Totally pissed me off. I'm considering calling Malibu.
