Axis Wakeboard Boat Forum

Today I received my standard racks that I ordered from Axis/Malibu to add in addition to my swivel racks. Does anyone else ha e these standard racks that say "Titian" on them??? I don't understand what they wouldn't look exactly like my swivel rack with out the swivel feature. Also why would they say "Titan"?

they say Titan because those are the fixed racks. You got what you were supposed to get.

Yea but still doesn't make it right.. sorry but you spend that kind of money they should match. Personally I would get another set of fixed ones as I never use the swivel ones.

I'm sure someone would gladly swap out their fixed for your swivels. Then you would match. There's not many people mixing fixed and swivel racks and very often they are not exactly the same for that reason. Did you research the fixed rack before you bought them? If not then you're partly to blame for your dissatisfaction.

Most of us who've been in the wakeboat scene for years are not fans of the guy who owns this company but the sale on his racks can't be beat. You could've gotten a better match on here I'm sure.

"that kind of money...." the axis fixed racks are hella cheap (inexpensive). Like $200 a rack when ordering the boat. much much much much less expensive than, say, the malibu take off fixed racks (which do match the swivels).

So yeah, when you spend Axis money you get a basic, functional fixed rack. When you spend malibu money you get bling.

Dealer should've shown/told you that they don't match tho.

I was referring to the overall price of the boat not the racks themselves. My racks don't match but I spent 300 bucks on a set myself not from the factory.

If you decide to sell the swivels, please let me know. I am interested in the starboard side rack.

Woof! I can see why you're upset.

I bought so aftermarket racks as I needed wider fingers and just more racks for all our stuff and much prefer the look of them over those factory racks.

Yeah, my pair was like 350 on the order. So "meh," they are basically the same price as the no-name stuff and maybe 2% nicer.

Certainly way cheaper than adding a second set of swivels.

But I agree, I was a little taken aback myself that they don't match. Then I remembered how cheap they were.
