I have a T23 and my front hard tank ballast is giving me trouble. When I try to drain the ballast it spits out water for 2 seconds and then is done. Anyone else had this trouble?

If you can hear it running it probably just needs to prime. Trace the drain hose to the pump and see if there's a loop in it or a bunch of extra length. If there is just trim it where the water can easily get into the pump. You can also hit the drain for a second or two when you plane out so the bow rise will force water into the pump to prime it. You should be fine after that for that day or weekend.

DRH* -- there is a hard tank in your bow?

I have the same problem (triangle bag)... just leave the fill on about 20sec longer once water starts coming out of the vent port... this will force water out your drain pump and prime it for you.

I am having a similar issue. I just installed a sumo 650 bow sac on a 2016 23 this past weekend. Does this sack drain into the Center tank? When I try to drain the front sac only, I do not see any water coming out of the side and the sac does not empty. If I drain the center and the bow at the same time, both tanks empty and I only see water coming out of one hole on the front. I assume I lost prime the first time, but not really sure.

I installed the bag myself and pretty sure I hooked all three lines up correctly (fill line with check valve on left, drain port on right and vent line on top) My top vent line is very long ( I could take off close to 2 feet), but I did not shorten it.

I did not get much of chance to work with it since my surf gate continues to blow the line fuse and send me into surf gate error mode. That is another thread I will get to soon
