I'm in Orlando, so it was about 6 weeks at factory and a week on the front end and back end for transporting. Take a look at the topic "Stress Cracks". You'll read the blow by blow and see others with similar issues. It's interesting for me to read it now to see how pissed I was at the front end but much happier once it was resolved. Good luck to you!

So what is everyone thinking here? Looks like a lot of Axis boat are having issues with cracking hulls/stringers becoming delaminated as of recent. Is this a manufacturing defect or do Axis owners just push the limits of their hulls more than owners of other manufactures boats?

I know for sure my original hull came bad from the factory. It was so loud when there was even slight chop. When I got the new one, it was so solid and quiet. 9 months since I got her back and all is perfect. We are on the water all the time; I have over 200 hours in the first year.
I think they have a problem at the factory. Some of these hulls just aren't being built correctly. Probably not real common but since we all communicate on the forum, we know more about each other's issues.

Same exact spot as mine, the stringer ends there on the outside

That doesn't look good. Mine were similar but ran front to back, full length of boat. If you lay underneath and knock the side of fist against the hull, it should sound solid. Spots where it delaminates will sound hollow. It's the best test of the hull.
My gel coat expert showed me that test. You'll know right away that it has separated from the stringers
Go to you dealer, it's covered by warranty.

I went today and pulled everything from my boat to be sent back to malibu this week and the service manager showed me a picture where he was able to slide a zip tie between the hull and stringer it delaminated bad enough. I knew it didn't sound/feel right driving through chop

I've came to an agreement with Malibu for repair. They are going to make it right and make me whole. Other than that, I agreed not to disclose the terms of our agreement.
