You guys are forgetting MB and Sanger in the Axis and Moomba price range. MB's are nice boats, surf well, and are one of the best boats in chop. I'd go MB over Moomba.

You know me and I owned 2 MB's but they have been going in a different direction as well. They have been difficult to deal with on some warranty issues and pricing. I believe Axis still wins in performance but in fit n finish and pricing, Moomba and MB wins. I will also tell you Skiers Choice customer service had been second to none. However AJ you have one of the best dealers in the nation.

Here in Ohio we don't have Sanger, MB, Tige, Centurion, etc....we're more vanilla than that unfortunately. We have Axis, Malibu, Nautique, Mastercraft, Moomba and Supra. So if you don't want to spend 6 figures you're options are limited.

Moomba has it going on around here. The local Axis dealer had his sponsorship pulled by Axis due to customer service issues. The new dealer in not in a great location for the people with the money to buy these boats. Moomba and Mastercraft are conveniently located. Moomba is definitely getting noticed in the Knoxville area.

It's the new 1.72 gear ratio the 350 and 450 had last year

With the Indmar switch to Ford platform, why did Axis not stay with Indmar like Malibu did? Why are they using the PCMs? PCM is owned by Correct Craft. (Which owns Natique & Centrion).

Malibu made a deal with PCM back in 2013 before Malibus went to Ford that Axis would use PCM motors for X amount of years. I think they started in 2014-2015 timeframe and go through 2018. 2019 is when Malibu is going to start making their own motors in house and they've worked with PCM a lot on their design and marinizing process. So while they may not be perfect first year, they'll be a lot better than Malibu trying to do it blindly without PCMs help.

"they've worked with PCM a lot on their design and marinizing process"

I'm sure PCM was more than happy to do this. Especially since they are owned by Nautique.
